Rob Griffiths coordinates and advances the distance education initiative, state authorization effort, MOOCs programming, technology supported course delivery research studies, and extended education services at Ohio State. He has been passionate about the affordances and possibilities of technology-empowered learning opportunities since showing his family how to use the Apple IIc. The journey for life-long learning is an undercurrent that drives much of his professional and personal interests, whether it is formal education, tutoring, or coaching tennis.
Henry Griffy is an instructional designer and Grants Coordinator at the Office of Distance Education and eLearning since 2012. He works with instructors to manage best-practices implementations of a wide range of learning technologies in high-impact courses, as well as supporting training and other special initiatives. He previously worked in the OSU Libraries as training and documentation coordinator, where he also contributed to the development of a digital publishing program and data-input for an expertise management system.
Leslie Weibush is the program manager of State Authorization at The Ohio State University. Since 2010, Weibush has become a subject matter expert in state authorization, researching compliance regulations in U.S. states and territories, gaining a clear understanding of state and federal requirements. She has presented on the topic of state authorization at the 2013 HLC Annual Conference, the SAN-O (State Authorization Network of Ohio) workshops in 2012, 2013, 2014 & 2015, and was a table topic facilitator at the 2013 & 2014 WCET (WICHE Cooperative for Educational Technologies) state authorization workshop.
