Susan C. Aldridge serves as president of Drexel University Online, where she is responsible for comprehensive services to online students, while also pursuing innovative approaches to online curricula, teaching, and student assessment. A highly accomplished and widely recognized higher education leader and strategist, both here at home and abroad, Aldridge has held executive leadership positions in some of the largest universities in the country. She spent six years as president of University of Maryland University College, and, prior to that, 10 years as vice chancellor for the Global Campus at Troy University in Alabama. During her tenure, both of these universities greatly expanded their global reach; implemented a series of sustainable growth strategies; effected sophisticated analytic systems for measuring quality service and student success; and received outstanding accreditation reviews. Before joining Drexel University, Aldridge also served as a senior fellow at the American Association of State Colleges and Universities where she was commissioned to write a book, Wired for Success, which she co-authored with Kathleen Harvatt. She is a frequent keynote speaker at national and international conferences and consultant to university presidents, government officials and business leaders in the areas of quality technology-enhanced learning, expanded academic access, increased student success, sustainable campus growth and global academic partnerships.
Shannon Meadows is currently serving as a strategic adviser to ED MAP, a content strategy and logistics company. She is also the founder of Iris Creative (www.iriscreative.net), advising client executives on go-to-market strategy, sales leadership to build and reinvigorate businesses. Throughout her career, Meadows has been instrumental in leading technology companies to market dominance in the education space culminating in successful equity events for investors. She has held executive leadership positions at Macromedia/Adobe, Blackboard and CourseSmart. She has served at WCET on both the Steering Committee and Executive Council since 2006. She holds a B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin and also attended the University of Copenhagen and Claremont McKenna College.
